People need to know what it is to be on the run, how hard it is to make that choice and why it is not taken lightly.

People are beginning to understand that children associated with the family court are not protected by services and that mothers are pretty much out on a limb when it comes to saving their children's lives.

There is just not enough about mothers on the run to protect their children and it certainly needs to be brought out in the open, so that policy makers and key stakeholders can make better decisions.  What would be fantastic is to see the media provide a focus on the mother and childs side of the story - without the domineering fathers side.
